Return Policy
Under
the Consumer Protections (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you
have the right to cancel your order within a 7-day "cooling-off"
period, which commences the day from receipt of the goods. If you
wish to exercise your right to cancel under these regulations, you
must request a Return Authorization Number (RA#) within 7 days
"cooling off" period. Once you have informed A
to Z Autoparts (Midlands) Ltd of
your right to cancel, you must continue to take good care of the
goods and retain possession of them until they are returned by
yourself. All items must have an RA# and be received in a new, unused
and ready-to-sell condition (including all original packaging, parts,
and paperwork) to receive a refund, excluding any shipping
costs.
You will be required to return the goods at your own
cost, via an insured carrier and within 28 days. If the goods are
returned within 28 days, in their original packaging and in a
re-saleable condition, we will issue a full refund, less any delivery
charges made.
Delivery Charges will not be refunded as
delivery is a service which is completed when the original delivery
is made.
All electronic products, require a 15% restocking fee and are subject to inspection before a credit is issued.
A to Z Autoparts (Midlands) Ltd does not accept returns on used items, custom-painted products.
Select items carry a 15% Restocking Fee.
International orders cannot be returned or exchanged unless the item is defective or in the case of an error on our part.
A to Z Autoparts (Midlands) Ltd will not reimburse labor charges or installation fees under any circumstances.
Orders placed using PayPal must pass an inspection before any credit will be issued.
Return procedure
All return items require a Return Authorization Number (RA#).
To get an RA#, log in to you account with your email address and password. Select the "Return Authorization" link below . In your return authorization form put order number, item you want to return and choose a return reason from the drop down menu. Then click the "Send" button, and your return request will be sent to our returns department.
We'll call you or email you within 48-72 hours (allow additional time for weekends and holidays) with an RA#.
Shipments received without a valid RA# clearly posted on the outside of the box will be charged a 15% restocking fee.
A to Z Autoparts (Midlands) Ltd is not responsible for items returned without proper return information (customer's name, address and RA#) on or in the box.

If the goods are defective, damaged or not as specified on your order acknowledgement, you are responsible for the cost of returning goods to the merchant. We recommend that you use Recorded Delivery, as proof of shipping is not proof of receipt. If however the goods are faulty then the postage costs will be refunded.
To get a valid RA#, see our full return procedure above. Once you've received the RA#, ship the defective item as instructed. Once we receive the package we'll ship you a replacement or credit your account.
Restocking Fees
A to Z Autoparts (Midlands) Ltd does not charge a restocking fee for returning most items. However, for some items, a restocking fee applies.
A 15% restocking fee also applies to the following:
Shipments returned without a proper Return Authorization Number (RA#) clearly posted on the box More information on getting an RA#
Orders placed for the incorrect model year of your vehicle.
Because manufacturers are constantly changing vehicle designs, we do not guarantee an older part will fit a newer vehicle and vice versa. Ordering a product not specifically designed for your vehicle (for example, a 2006 model car cover ordered for a 2007 vehicle) is done at your own risk and will incur a restocking fee if returned.
Credits
All returned item(s) will be inspected upon receipt and must meet the following criteria for a credit:
The item(s) must be returned in a new condition.
All items returned for a refund or exchange must be in a new and ready-to-sell condition. This includes all installation hardware, instructions, packaging and paperwork.The returned package must be clearly labeled with a proper Return Authorization Number (RA#).
Items returned without an RA# clearly displayed on the box will be charged a 15% restocking fee.
The original credit card used to place the order will be credited for the purchase price of the item and any applicable sales tax, excluding all shipping costs.
We'll send an email confirming receipt of your return and your credit. Please allow an additional 5-7 business days for your bank to process the credit to your account.
Non-returnable Products
Most of the items available at A to Z Autoparts (Midlands) Ltd may be returned for full or partial credit. However, some items for your specific vehicle are not returnable.
In the case of defect or our error, these items may be returned for full or partial credit, depending on the circumstances.
The vast majority of our customers are extremely happy with their items and
never need to return them.
Who pays for return shipping costs?
A to Z Autoparts (Midlands) Ltd covers return shipping costs if the return is due to a manufacturing defect or as a result of our error. You will be required to return the items in question and if confirmed to be faulty, we will be pleased to replace the item with a new one, or in the event of the same item no longer being available, an equivalent. You may wish to receive a refund instead, which we will be pleased to issue.
Items returned for reasons other than defect or A to Z Autoparts (Midlands) Ltd error will not be provided with a pre-paid return label. These returns include reasons such as "changed my mind," "did not like the product" and "ordered the incorrect product".
